Prayer Requests
5/27/2018 – A trucker’s strike is ongoing in Brazil and I ask prayer that they would allow the gasoline, food and medicine to be delivered to the people, and there would be a resolution with this situation.
3/19/2018 – The elections are coming up in October for the new Brazilian president. Many are worried and unsure about the future. I ask you to keep the election in prayer and the people.
Praise Reports
10/6/2017 – Yesterday, I started my English teaching certification program. It’s 240 hours to complete, and I have 4 months to finish. Will you keep me in prayer as I go through the course, especially that I will retain this information and finish in time?3/19/2018 – It took a little longer than I thought, but I am officially a certified teacher!
3/7/2018 – I’m battling Bronchitis at the moment and prayer would be much appreciated!3/17/2018 – What a journey! I went to the doctor to get medicine, but it was the wrong kind and when I received the right kind, I had an allergic reaction. Thank God, I am recovered now and feeling better. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!
1/8/2018 – I’m not sure what’s going on but my throat has been hurting a lot for the past three days, especially when I speak. I’m trying not to talk too much and rest it, but I would appreciate prayer as well! 1/19/2018 – I was in pain for 10 days and I wasn’t able to sing or talk much but a few days ago, my grandma prayed with me on the phone and I haven’t had any pain since then! So grateful to God. I had missed singing!
9/17/2017 – Tomorrow, I return home. Can you pray my transition is peaceful coming home? There is such thing as reverse culture shock and I’m praying God would help me to adjust easily in the coming weeks.10/7/2017 – It was still an adjustment coming back (it was so weird to hear and see English everywhere!) but God helped me through it and I’ve been feeling better this past week. Thank you for the prayers!
9/12/2017 – I have my interview next week for the visa. I’m asking prayer that everything goes smoothly and gets approved.9/20/2017 – My visa was approved! I’ve picked it up from the embassy and now, I’m officially going to Brazil!
9/3/2017 – Next year, I’m going to need a place to stay. I’m praying for a room, in a neighborhood close to my school so I can walk and don’t have to pay for transportation.9/15/2017 – My friend told me of a woman who had a spare room in the area I was looking at. It’s absolutely everything I prayed for and more! It takes 7 minutes to walk to my school, the price is in my budget, there are two other girls I will live with and I’ll be right near a park where I can go and relax. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want!
8/30/2017 – My friend from Brazil wants to go back to a ministry school in my home town. However, she is having problems with her visa being approved. I’m praying she gets the provision she needs.
9/7/2017 – Through different people, God gave her the exact amount she needed and let everything get approved for her visa. She leaves tomorrow!
